I provide both virtual and in-person counseling to adults and adolescents ages 11-64 who are struggling with past or present issues of mental health and addiction. I also provide counseling for individuals and families who are affected by generational mental health and addiction, or who are coping with a loved one who struggles with these issues. I also provide court ordered counseling and substance abuse evaluations.
I accept all major insurances and also have a sliding scale fee for those who wish to pay out of pocket.

I am an MA level, fully licensed, independent dual-diagnosis counselor with fifteen years of experience working with adolescents, adults, couples and families who struggle with mental health and issues of addiction. I received my BA from Mount Holyoke College in 2008, graduating with honor, and went on to receive an MA in Counseling from Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2011.
Though I treat all forms of mental health and addiction issues, I specialize in ADHD, depression, anxiety, alcohol use disorder, OCD, sex and pornography addiction, binge eating disorder and partner betrayal. I have a warm, person -centered style and use a holistic yet strengths based framework to help clients work towards achieving true happiness and self love. My clients find they greatly increase practical coping skills and are better able to understand and manage triggers. I work to create an environment, free of judgement or shame, and am affirming of all humans and experiences.

I believe that every person has the capacity to achieve true happiness and greatness within them. As we move through life, our experiences shape our world and self view and influence our individual ways of coping with negative emotions and events.
Sometimes, we become stuck in negative cycles of coping in order to bear the weight of these experiences and this cycle can trap us in a place of survival rather than thriving. I believe that thorough identifying these experiences, beliefs, and destructive thought patterns, in combination with learning new, positive ways of coping we can break this cycle and achieve our full potential.
I believe that therapy is a vital part of emotional well-being and personal growth. My evidence based practice combines person-centered therapy, DBT/CBT, life coaching, and mindfulness. I operate using a practical, yet warm and relaxed approach to address clients as a whole, and strive to be a catalyst for the development of their true potential.
I see the therapeutic relationship as an equal partnership and collaboration. My goal for each session is for clients feel relaxed, productive and truly heard. My clients tell me that I am down to earth, warm, accepting and easy to talk to. Ultimately, I strive to help others build the tools necessary to lead a happier, healthier and productive life.
